When I first trained, I loved holistic therapy, I wasn’t prepared for the real world of working with clients. There were big gaps in my training. I got my diplomas, my treatments were … meh.

I didn’t know how to use firm pressure or how to adapt my pressure to suit what the client wanted and needed. I didn’t know how to give an Indian Head Massage with the client lying down, I couldn't give a sinus massage which is often requested by clients. I didn't understand essential oil chemistry and how it can make blends 100% more effective.

Clients came once, sometimes twice, and then disappeared.

My business know how was to put my cards in local shops and cross my fingers. This was time-consuming, expensive and ineffective, not the way to a profitable business.

Good therapists don’t struggle because they aren’t talented. They struggle because no one shows them how to really do this — clinically, practically, and in business.
